A qualified make up artist, Sophie has been involved the beauty enhancement business for over 15 years. Following the footsteps of her grandfather, the great Charles Parker, the world renowned pioneer of stage and film make-up.
As a small child, Sophie would spend many hours at Pinewood Studios watching her grandfather work on movie icons such as Ava Gardner, Oliver Reed, Vivian Leigh and Lawrence Olivia. They inspired her to follow in his footsteps. A long list of delighted clients is testiment that she inherited his talent and passion.
To see the change of a persons features and to be able to maximise their own unique beauty, and in doing so seeing their confidence grow has been the motivation and her passion. However, Sophie felt a growing frustration in that the results could not be more permanent.
Clients expressed delight with their application, but felt it disappointing that the results would not last. This was particularly true to elderly clients, visually impared, or dare I say it, career women who simply do not have the time. The solution was to take her career to the next level, with Semi-permanent make-up. Two years research lead to a six month study of the craft with the UK's leading training body. Sophie's desire is to offer a friendly professional service and to create a natural bespoke look, from glamorous to natural, that her clients love.
